lovely pub food
Not only is the food excellent at The Lady Ottoline, but the drinks are superb. Try the Bloody (or Virgin) Mary - best I have ever had.
Food was excellent - a bit pricey but well worth the money. Wild garlic pesto on the pork chop was delicious, and the burnt sugar topping on the creme brule had excellent flavour contrast to the custard underneath, just the right amount of bitter burnst sugar carmel taste. The only downside is that for dinner they have no set price menu, so you can easily be tempted into spending more than you'd planned!
Warm and cosy pub with great service. Could do with more vegetarian options but what the one option was very tasty!
