Gulshaan

About Gulshaan

If you find yourself craving curry in North London, head for Gulshaan – one of Kentish Town’s most popular Indian restaurants. Situated right next to the tube station, it’s ideal for mid-week lunches and laid-back dinners before a gig at the Forum or a night out in Camden Town. The chefs use fresh herbs and spices and prepare each dish in the style of the region it originates from to guarantee an authentic flavour. The menu features familiar favourites like baltis, biryanis and seafood dishes like the spicy prawn madras. For something a little different, try Gulshaan’s signature dish – Murgh Bade Saba, which is chicken cooked with green chillis, coriander, ginger, yoghurt and a unique blend of herbs and spices. You won’t be disappointed!

Gulshaan in Kentish Town was a good choice for a quick meal before hitting The Forum. Food was nice in this intimately sized restaurant.

Lovely meal, good service. Can get expensive if you add in beers. They charge for poppadoms and chutney separately - I've never encountered this before. I would definitely eat here again. Bull and Gate is nice for a beer after.

Curry before KT Tunstall at the HMV forum. Terrific food and prompt service even though the joint was jumping. Toilets seem to be a bit of an afterthought though - but clean.

Gulshaan never fails to impress. Great food and service at a reasonable price. Still my favorite Indian resturant in the Camden area after three years of visiting.
