We redeemed our toptable points at La Porte des Indes, near Marble Arch tube. They offered us a choice of set menus and the choices were quite interesting. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. The decor is opulent, I felt like I was in the tropics on a freezing cold February evening. The main menu also looks interesting so it would be good to come back to sample more. If there was just one thing I was a bit surprised by it was the rather steep prices for fruit juices and wine.

We returned to the Sunday Buffet at Porte des Indes and enjoyed ourselves as usual. We find the starters and desserts(served street food style) are the stars of the show, with the main courses rather average, although some of the vegetarian options are good. Cocktails are too expensive and can boost the total bill quite dramatically, as can most of the drinks, but overall anice experience.

I really appreciated the service and attention during our dinner. It is truly enjoyable...we go there very often when we have guests and family over and it is always a delight. Attention to customers and accommodating our needs was much appreciated. Food was fabulous without being spicy. Definitely recommend!

We went to La Porte des Indes to celebrate a birthday. The staff made us very welcome, answered all our questions regarding nuts etc, as two of us have allergies. The surroundings are tropical and beautifully oriental. The food was great and we had a lovely time.
