Toptable says about Langan's Bistro
Situated on Devonshire Street, next door to its sister restaurant Odin's, Langan's Bistro is a bijou gourmet haven just a stone's throw from Regent's Park. Inside, the comfortable furnishings and modern sketches that adorn the walls create a cosy, welcoming atmosphere that draws in the locals night after night. The reasonably priced prix fixe menus offer excellent value for money and the concise wine list features popular French wines which complement the Anglo-French menu. Popular dishes include pan-fried frogs legs with garlic and parsley butter; roast fillet of pork with parsnip puree and Madeira sauce; and grilled seabream with lemon roasted fennel. For dessert, try the legendary Mrs. Langan's chocolate pudding or choose from a selection of homemade ice-creams and sorbets.

Langans Bistro never lets you down. As soon as you walk in you are made to feel welcome by the friendly staff. The set menu is excellent value and always consistent in its output regardless of the dish chosen. A faourite of mine that continues from strength to strength - highly recommended.
Langan's Bistro is the sister restaurant of Odin's next door. Both places are very attractive venues with an interesting collection of paintings and photographs. The beef and mushroom pie tasted ok, but the meat was a bit too tough. And the vegetables were rather skimpy. My guest had the cod, which was tasty.
Langan's is a nice friendly local restaurant. It's a bit like eating in someone's front room. The food can be variable but the crispy duck was good and Mrs Langan's chocolate pudding is worth sharing.
I have been here many times and had a thouroughly enjoyable time. To be honest this time was a bit of a let down with overcooked and watery food plus slow service.
A delicious meal with very friendly service; a lovely place to eat.
