The Larrik

About The Larrik

Tucked away in the quaint backstreets of London’s Marylebone, The Larrik is a little gem of a gourmet pub filled with candles, an open fire, comfy leather armchairs and a warm, welcoming vibe. Always filled with locals unwinding and enjoying the excellent homemade cuisine, The Larrik has been listed in the 2011 Michelin Guide for its ‘good food in an informal environment’, and this is a wonderful spot for lazy Sunday lunches and parties with friends. In the summer time the crowd spills onto the street as they enjoy a pint or a Pimms, and the kitchen at The Larrik is headed up by Humphrey Fletcher – an award winning chef who has created a brilliant modern European menu.

Lunch at the Larrik was OK but not great on this occasion. 2 of my friends had the burger and said that the meat was overcooked (although she had specifically requested rare) and the fries were hard and not good. I had the fish cake which was very good as usual.

The Larrick in Marylebone provided great pub food, however, they were somewhat understaffed considering how busy they were over the lunchtime period with business men and women. Nonetheless, food was good, just had to wait 45minutes for it.

The Larrick in London is a great place for lunch. My burger was superb and the welsh rarebit we shared to start was wonderful. Service was friendly.

Had a team Christmas drinks the other night at The Larrik in London. Excellent friendly staff and good quality drinks. There a number of large Christmas groups there so the finger food we ordered was a little slow in coming out (understandable really) but when it did it was very nice. Recommended.

Nice evening at The Larrick. Excellent burger, lovely salad, decently priced wine list. And genuinely charming service. An excellent local gastropub with a nice vibe now they've ditched the giant SkySports tv.
