Consisting of both meat based and vegetarian stews and slowly cooked casseroles alongside the sourdough-ish traditional bread known as injera, Zigni House’s trademark cuisine is both heart and belly warming, taste bud tingling and flavoursome, eaten in the African style, by which we mean sans knife and fork, sharing with your fellow tablemates and with plenty of finger licking too. Even coffee is somehow ceremonial here at Zigni House, served with nibbles, incense and with its very own traditions.
