good food and friendly efficient service

We opted against Coq's set menu in the end as it wasn't overly appealing, and though our meals cost more in the end the quality cannot be disputed. Would definitely go back for a working meal.

London Coq d'Argent . The barman was extremely impatient, which was a shames as the rest of the staff were excellent.

Using the 2/3 course offer proved excellent value: far better than other set menu offers I had tried. We were given a menu uniquely for the offer, with 3 or 4 options for each course, each of which looked wonderful. The food and service were excellent, as was the wine (although indulging in wine by the glass without checking the prices was unwise for a budget outing). I would heartily recommend others to use this offer, and dress up to make a good evening of it.

The food was excellent, quality ingredient and superb value for money. The sommelier was at hand to provide advice on the extensive (but fairly pricy) wine list. Overall a great night out and I will go back again.
