Le Cercle

About Le Cercle

Le Cercle is another divine gastronomic experience from the stable that includes Club Gascon and Comptoir Gascon. This is fine French dining at its best. Le Cercle provides all the trappings that guarantee a memorable night out - award-winning food, discreet service, a glamorous bar and an impressive wine list. The restaurant is intimate and moody, with discreet booths perfect for clandestine meetings of both the romantic and entrepreneurial kind. The dining room's chic furniture, double-height ceilings and billowing white curtains make the perfect setting for chef Thierry Beyris’ 'exceptional' grazing menus, where the many little dishes sizzle with cleverness. For those who prefer a classic format Le Cercle offers a fantastic 3 course set menu with multiple choice. Our favourites being the ravioles and green olives, steak tartare, white asparagus, cured vanilla salmon and pork belly with chicory and raisins.

Shining service, super menu elegantly prepared and presented. Could do without the high volume music which didn't suit style of restaurant & wine list on pricey side. Otherwise - highly recommended

Excellent food and friendly service at Le Cercle. We ate pre-theatre so very quiet. Quality of the food could not have been bettered - both agreed that it tasted great, especially the scallops with fennel. Only negative feedback was that the portions were rather small, especially the mains.

Down a narrow small corridor into the basement. Sounds like something dodgy, but when you get there, oh what a surprise you're in for. Service can be a little too attentive, but the food is superb. Their wine cellar is fully visible and looks adequately stocked. Live music (not always I gather) in the corner and a seasonal menu. Word of warning though, don't take a table near the bar. It can get boisterous.

Was excellent service but very empty. The food was great but portions good have been bigger especially for starters. Would I go again? Not sure didn't stand out for me enough.
