Lovely lunch, beautifully prepared, good value and great service. The venue looks a little dated now (though not at all shabby) and it was very cold in the window but they moved us without a quibble. Definitely recommended for a sociable lunch
Had a lovely meal at Kensington Place. Staff in general were very attentive and our particular waiter was very friendly and helpful. Food was tasty and very good value with the Toptable deal.
Kensington place in Nottinghill was good value for money. Interesting nautical decor but great food. Opted for 3 course in end. My sticky toffee pudding had a piece of wood in it - waitress was very apologetic and gave us 2 desserts free plus complimentary coffee - genuinely nice gesture. All in all, good night. Downside is the toilets are freezing!!
Haven't been to Kensington Place in London in about 10 years, glad I went back. Just refurbed so fresh modern look. The food and service are as spot on as I remember, easy and unfussy. The emphasis on fish is new, with all produce being sourced from the top mongers next door. That we sat next to four French who clearly knew their food is a testament to the place. Thoroughly recommend.
Great meal at Kensington Place in London. It got off to bad start as it took forever to find a waiter who was willing to take our order but when the manager came over he was so apologetic that it made up for it. The food was delicious and so nicely served. We go every year and this was our best meal there yet.
