Events at The Camden Head

  • Black Daniel

    Concert

    5 Dec 2009 to 2 Jan 2010

An innovative transatlantic fused concoction of the blues, swaggering, street-life soul and a general rock and roll nonchalance coupled to deep electro tinges, in their relatively short time together Black Daniel are already flirting with fame and mainstream acclaim, having toured with Kasabian throughout Europe last year and off the back of a string of dates at sharply hip London venues.

  • Chapter24 + The Hidden Messages + Death Of The Party + Alys And The D90s

    Concert

    28 Nov 2009 to 28 Nov 2009

Whimsical and quirky pop is the order of the day with London quartet Chapter 24. Improvising a set-list by picking the song titles out of a big yellow teapot and generally creating the sort of hyper, angular and manic pop that sounds a bit like what Syd Barrett might have written if he'd have done less acid and drank more lemonade. But just a bit. Their music twists and turns all over the place, changing tempo often too many times within a song, but that doesn't make them any less adorable. Their stage presence can also vary dramatically. From jumping around like wildebeests to shuffling around like shy schoolgirls, they will not disappoint even the most profilic gig-goer.

  • Club Rees - Xmas Party

    Concert

    12 Dec 2009 to 12 Dec 2009

A special live music night and holiday party with live music from indie pop band Club Rees.

  • The Crimea

    Concert

    16 Dec 2009 to 16 Dec 2009

Unique folk-punk-rock band formed from the ashes of the Crocketts. Their single, 'Baby Boom', reached number 8 in John Peel's Festive Fifty. They've played with the likes of Echo and the Bunnymen, Kings Of Leon, Dashboard Confessional, Travis and Stereophonics.
