I went to Inamo St James last week for dinner. As with before, it was an excellent experience, really interested my friend who had never been. Food was excellent but portion was on the smaller side. I love the grilled seabass starter and the veg sushi, and the seafood gyoza. For main we had crisy duck and pancake, a must have every time, and beef buribop. The rice was quite oily though, so not sure if I'll have it again.
Inamo St James London is a fun restaurant. Ordering is enjoyable, food standard is fine if on the pricey side.

Having read mixed reviews, I admittedly had low expectations of Inamo St James. Unnecessarily. The staff were friendly (though one harried waitress brought us a jug of water but no glasses, and we couldn't get anyone's attention for 20 mins!). Food was great; I enjoyed my black cod miso and my friends liked their hot stone beef and tamarind duck dishes. The tables were a novelty and injected fun into the evening, fighting over table decor and watching chef cam. Pricey but a good experience.
Inamo st james was such an amuse for us all. It was our first time for all of us and we could not control our excitement for the interacting tables. Would go ther again and again. The food was fine and the prices reasonable. The only problem we had was at the end of the dinner with our desserts as we had to wait for it more then half an hour but apart from that everything was fantastic. We had a lovely night.
