Maroush 1 is quite hidden away but a lovely atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff, food is a bit overpriced but the ambience makes up for it, lovely place to go with family, live music and belly dancing was fantastic and overall would highly recommend the overall experience.

Maroush1 had fantastic food; but the entertainment (singer) was way too loud and you could not have a conversation over dinner.

8 of us dined at Maroush 1 on Saturday night. We were greeted by very friendly and efficient staff who wasted no time in giving us some complimentary champagne (a very nice touch). Service was attentive but not over-bearing, just how it should be. We ordered a set menu and the food was great and plentiful (good value). There was an extended cabaret show with two acts (one singer and a belly dancer). Both were fantastic although it was difficult to speak to each otherwhen they were on.

Had a set menu which included cold starters, hot starters, main and desserts. There were a lot of food for each course and the mean was finished comfortably with a mint tea. Live entertainment started from 9pm till late. Would be an ideal place for party.
