Situated 5 minutes away from Angel underground station on popular Upper Street and close to the Business Design Centre, is Masala Zone, a casual dining Indian restaurant. Serves real Indian food in a casual, contemporary yet exotic setting. Masala Zone Islington is decorated Jangadh folk paintings by the tribals from the forests of Central India. Indian street food, regional curries including vegetarian, Indian grills can all be found on the menu. Open for lunch and dinner daily; expect to pay £12 for lunch and around £15 for dinner including a drink. No reservations necessary for less than 10 persons. Party area available.

Although the management were friendly and professional when I advised them of my food allergy, I found the food to be average.

good curry at Masala Zone, everything is pretty spicy though so if i doesn't have a chilli next to it, it doesn't mean it hasn't got some kick! good buzz and friendly staff.
