The Portman
About The Portman
A fine, neighbourhood style bar and restaurant, The Portman is situated in the small and chic London enclave of Portman Village. A fitting addition to the stylish boutiques that call this part of the capital home, The Portman is the ideal after shopping stop off yet equally befits a special dining occasion. On the ground floor, The Portman’s pub area is a cosy choice for easy dining, with a Parisian bistro feel and an all day menu with sophisticated breakfasts and sleek versions of pub grub classics. Upstairs, a more refined dining room decorated in light, vintage tones is home to a classy British menu with touches of Euro-gourmet, prepared using free range, organic and RSPCA approved ingredients wherever possible.

Great value with the toptable offer as you get a drink included. Food is cooked beautifully but set menu has a very limited range.
Excellent Food . Excellent Service.
Excellent food . Excellent service.
The waitress was fairly attentive and the main meal was tasty but we waited a long time for our main course and dessert to arrive even though the restaurant was not that busy. After already waiting half hour for the dessert we were told our choice had run out and we had to choose another from the menu. My friend did not enjoy her Pavlova dessert and when she mentioned this the price of a glass of wine was removed from the bill. My experience of this pub was average and I would not rush back.
Great Value - Great Staff - great local pub
