Ken Lo's Memories Of China
About Ken Lo's Memories Of China
Memories of China restaurant in London’s leafy Kensington attracts a lively, celebrated clientele. It was one of the very first top-flight Chinese restaurants in London and has never wavered one iota from its high standards. This elegant restaurant with its white table linens, Chinese artifacts, fresh flowers, superb staff and high-end Westernised menu is a favourite of Chanel-clad locals. Signature dishes are many, including five-spiced spare ribs, quick-fried courgettes stuffed with minced prawns, Mongolian barbecue of lamb in lettuce puffs, Sichuan double-cooked pork. The wines are perfectly matched to the dishes – another triumph.

Went for a dinner at Memories of China in Kensington. Food was good. Service was attentive. The atmosphere was quiet and calming.
brought back memories of our own - had not been at memories of china for years. the menu is the same and the food was great - lovely meal , great service
I had a pleasant evening, the ambiance was good, staff attentive, The Lobster dish was excellent, but the rest of the meal disappointing, not much above your below average high street Chinese. Good But not great
Went to Memories of China in Kensington last night after a long absence. It was as good as we remembered. Friendly, attentive service and good food. We had three spiced squid and red oil poached dumplings for starters. For mains, Szechuan prawns, beef in black pepper sauce and green beans with hot garlic sauce. All delicious and very generous portions - had to bring a doggy bag home. Will definitely return.
Memories of China in Kensington, near Olympia, was very quiet this Sunday lunchtime - holiday season, I suppose. We had been advised about the generous portions and the first courses of Set Meal no.1 were indeed chunky. Still, leaving a bit of each proved unnecessary - the mains were manageable. All the food was tasty and hot and we were pleased with our choice.
