Never was a high-end, tasteful, lively, genteel restaurant so perfectly suited to its location as Ken Lo’s suits Belgravia. Near the West End and Westminster to attract high-flying corporate and ministerial types, Ken Lo’s is mostly a favourite neighbourhood restaurant for well-heeled diners who adore the Westernised Chinese menu, Jeevesian service, white table linens, fresh flowers and blissfully-chosen wines. Signature dishes are many, including five-spiced spare ribs, quick-fried courgettes stuffed with minced prawns, Mongolian barbecue of lamb in lettuce puffs, Sichuan double-cooked pork. Ken Lo’s Memories of China’s lobster set menu is a favourite, too.

Ken Lo's is best Chinese restaurant in London I've been to. Fab food and service, great ambience.
Good food, very helpful service but left al;one a little too much occassionally. Very happy to go back again.
We ate at Ken Lo's Memories of China on Tuesday and had an excellent meal. I've been to the restaurant many times before but it was my friend's first time and she was equally impressed with the quality of the food. We went for a set menu and as a result the service was a little too speedy, no sooner finishing one course than the next arriving, but apart from that we had a very enjoyable evening. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for and for me this is Chinese food at its best.
Ken Lo Memories of China: just a bit disappointing. We chose a set menu and maybe that was unadventurous of us. With one exception, the food felt unadventurous though perfectly tasty and decent portions. A bit "ordinary" but the decor is very warm and inviting.
The food at Ken Lo's last night was excellent. The service was very good and the wine list was extensive. Worth a visit.
