The Elysee Restaurant was a delightful surprise. We started the evening with mojitos on the roof terrace, then dinner in a Georgian room, then dancing and singing in the club restaurant on the ground floor until very late (they close at 3.30am). All in the same building. The food was good quality and well dressed on the plate.
Elysee is a first rate establishment. We sat down at 8 for dinner and by the end of the night had experienced a cultural masterpiece. These guys put on a live show of greek singers, with a live band and a lot of plate smashing. The food was great....jumbo king prawns, calamari and the meze dips were personal favourites. I highly reccommend if you are a big group that wants to have a great time and experience something very different. We'll definitely be back!
The Elysee deserves its reputation as the best Greek restaurant in central London. The service is friendly and attentive. We were remembered and welcomed back warmly by the staff on only our second visit. The menu is diverse, catering well to vegetarians as well as fish and meat meat eaters. My partner raved about the Taramosalata made from fresh cod row for starters and the vegetarian Mousaka for her main. My calamari starter and lamb shank main were also perfect.
Good food in a top location, the 3 course special is excellent value. Plus open until 3.30am. Wow!
Elysee in Percy St, Fitzrovia serves very good Greek food in a tastefully decorated restaurant. The service was efficient and portions good. My lunch guest reommended the Bream. It was a shame that we were the only guests having lunch for the whole 2 hours we were there!
