Lovely atmosphere at Nizuni in Charlotte Street. We tried the Sushi Nizuni to get an idea of the offering and it was varied, fresh and delicious - particularly good salmon and kickass wasabi. A largeish side of crunchy sour pickles was yummy too. Not cheap but the quality was worth it.

Browsing restaurant website, you have the impression of a calm and relaxing atmosphere. But once you are there, you find that is misleading. The reality: very noisy, everybody tries to raise voice in order to be heard; portion tends to be smaller than its price suggests. We ordered both brown and white rice, but none of them was filled to 60% of bowl size. The small portion urges you to order more and ends up with a higher bill. Not worth the money!

The food was absolutely delicious. My friend and I shared 3 starters and a main as the starters just sounded so interesting! Highly recommend the butterfish tataki with spicy sauce and balsamic dressing and the yellowtail sashimi with truffle dressing.
