Da Scalzo

About Da Scalzo

Da Scalzo is a hip little art gallery come Italian restaurant and pizzeria in London’s Belgravia run by Enzo and Robert Scalzo - two of the brothers behind the Patisserie Valerie chain. Located inside a converted church hall, Da Scalzo is set over a double vaulted main floor with two mezzanine levels above, which now houses pieces from Enzo’s private art collection. True to the age-old tradition of twentieth century Parisian cafés, artists can eat for free here in exchange for hanging their latest artworks on the wall, adding to the authentic charm of this feel-good neighbourhood restaurant. The menu is mainly Italian, with a hint from other parts of the Mediterranean, and the atmosphere feels like a home away from home – cosy, comfortable and lots of fun. The Da Scalzo brother’s infectious passion for great food and fine art really makes this a Belgravia restaurant a hidden London gem.

Went to Da Scalzo in Victoria with my friend. Service was great, food was lovely and with the discount it was good value for money. Would definitely go back.

Very friendly and great Italian cusine. Great location if you are meeting near the Gatwick express, bus station or train station. The staff were so welcoming and ensured we had a relaxing and enjoyable lunch - would definately go again

Da Scalzo, London SW1. Lovely food, especially good value with the 30% off. Nice atmosphere and pleasant service. Just wouldn't drink wine next time at £6 a small glass! Overall recommended and would repeat visit.

The restaraunt features interesting artwork on each wall, making it visually pleasing. The food was very good, although the starters were much too large! The service was generally good.

Da Scalzo is an above average Italian restaurant, the tastes and food quality good. Smart and friendly service. However we were disappointed with the 'Art gallery' selling point?? TT offer made it worth while.
