Located on a street of the same name, Montpeliano restaurant in Knightsbridge has earned a reputation as one of the best places to go for classic Italian cooking. Montpeliano is a split level restaurant with two distinctly different dining rooms. The upper floor is very city-chic, with sleek white walls, adorned with autographed images of celebrity patrons; whilst the lower level is more romantic. Here, guests are invited to eat under the stars in the glass roofed dining room, which is an ideal setting for lazy summer lunches and intimate dinners. Tasty favourites include the asparagus gratin – green asparagus with melted parmesan cheese and butter; the medaglioni al pepe verde – medallions of steak in a green pepper sauce; and the profiteroles al cioccolato.

Very good service and great food if a little simple given the price
After a fantastic matinee show, the trip to London was ruined by an extremely poor, over priced meal at Montpeliano in Knightsbridge. The starters were ok but nothing special, main courses were sent back as under cooked, over cooked or so heavily coated in flour that was all that could be tasted. I would not recomend this restaurant as it appears to cater for the tourist market, serving up over priced food and wine of an inferior quality.
Monpeliano is a great traditional Italian, with good food and a very nice atmosphere.
Montpeliano, Knightsbridge Really nice restuarant! The deco and ambiance were spot on. I came here for 1st year anniversary and it was great. The penne arabiata was EXTREMELY spicey, but still really tasty. The service was quick and the waiters were really polite. Highly recommended.
This restaurant is one of our favourites. Food is always good, atmosphere and service excellent
