About The Monument

The Monument, designed by Sir Christopher Wren to commemorate the Great Fire of London has been welcoming visitors for over 300 years. Today, visitors climb 311 steps to the top of this historic landmark (built 1677) to take in spectacular views of London. As recognition of such achievement each visitor to the Monument receives a certificate as proof of their athletic abilities!

The Monument Facilities

Opening Times Daily: 9:30 to 17:30. The monument can only be accessed by climbing the 311 step spiral staircase.

Prices for The Monument

Adult Ticket: £3.00 (CAD4.69)  per ticket
Child Ticket: £1.00 (CAD1.56)  per ticket
Concession Ticket: £2.00 (CAD3.13)  per ticket

Children of 13 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult. A combined ticket with including access to the Tower Bridge Exhibition is available - adults £8, concessions £5.50, children £3.50.
