Stayed one night 14th Nov (should have been 2 nights at Ibis, but due to problem there checked out see different review). I booked a double disabled room, as my partner is registered disability but I also have mobility problems neither of us are in a wheelchair. Firstly with regards to car parking there are ample spaces, but this is a very large hotel (about 600 rooms), there was a lot of disabled parking. It is quite a long walk through the hotel to the reception area (fine if you don't have problems walking). When we went to check in (check in is from 2 pm our room was not ready, we didn't get into the room until after 6 pm, the excuse was that they were refurishing the hotels and the disabled rooms were rarely used so they hadn't been cleaned). I didn't feel this was good we were offered a coffee whilst we waited. We were in room 317 (i think it was), it was a room for disabled, but to get to it, meant after leaving reception you turned left, then left again down a long corridor and then left and the room was along that corridor. Aparently they have no disabled rooms any closer (most places disabled rooms are close to reception or near a lift, etc). The room itself was fine, a reasonable size, with double bed, although the bed was very low. Bathroom had bath with shower over (shower hose), bath was fine, and low to ground, so good for mobility problems). One negative though was the bathroom door it was very heavy to pull. We didn't eat here so I can make no comment about the food. Car Parking is a hefty £8.00 a day. It is a very modern hotel.

Personally I wouldn't stay at this Premier Inn again, simply due to where there disabled rooms are located, although the room itself was fine. But I would recommend it to an able bodied person.

We stayed 1 night in this hotel before a long flight to KL. It was a really quick bus ride, although the cost of the bus was £6!! EACH!! ONE WAY!!!! Only in London!! We arrived to find a front desk that was clearly understaffed for an early Sunday evening (surely one of the busiest times in an airport hotel?) and a queue of annoyed and frustrated guests either trying to check in or solve what seemed like a plethora of problems. I had requested a room on a high floor but this wan't on my booking, managed to get one quite quickly though.

One thing that really marked the place down was the kids play area. I have my own children, but the sound of 10-15 kids running about just before their bedtime was too much after a long day of travelling. Managed to get onto the internet quickly and at a decent price.

The restaurants were an absolute rip-off! We are from 'up-north' so always anticipate higher prices in the capital, but this took the biscuit! We went out of the hotel to look for a place to eat, but all we found was a bowling alley with a McDonalds. AND they charged £1 each just to go into the building!!

All in all I would not recommend this hotel because of the awful experience of arriving to pure chaos. The rooms were quite dated and lacked that tidy, efficient cleanliness I normally get in Premier Inns. I can't think of anywhere less relaxing after/before a long flight.

We stayed at Premier Inn in late October. This was our 4th stay at this conveniently located Heathrow hotel.

Room quality is good, and the restaurant has a good breakfast (pass on dinner if you can). But, difficulties in communications make staying here painful.

Major problems - understaffed front desk, and very poor telephone coverage. Also, I have been involved in a months-long effort to get the correct credit for a rescheduled stay. They have managed to screw it up at least 5 times. Still not correctly resolved.

If you enjoy having to make at least a dozen phone calls and getting a recording most of the time that is not returned, then stay at Premier Inn. Otherwise, keep your blood pressure low, and stay elsewhere.
