well reading theese reveiws all i can say is that i totaly agree it was disgusting there were no curtains in the childrens room and only half a curtain in our room the carpet was sticky and stained there was poo in the toilet and the little old lady who let us in asked us to pay her an extra £20 even though we had already paid in full for 2 nights so i tuck my wife up 2 the room at that stage she burst into tears at the state of it so we left and had 2 travel round london 2 find other accomidation with 2 small children so we lost £120.00
A Night Inn HELL
This place was a disgrace, I travel to london 1-2 times a year for around a week, this place was the cheapest in this visit...
Well we waited nearly an hour for the manager to turn up, and was shown around the rooms, on seeing them I didnt want to stay there but we had already paid online.
The sheets smelt of stale sweat, So I selpt on top of towels and a jumper on the pillow (which I binned on return home) as was covered with stains as was the wallpaper, ceiling and radiator...
The toilet didnt flush, I had to take the top of the cisteren and pull the leaver!!
I noticed the biscuits was half eaten and only had 2 tea bags, and these was never changed and no one was availble to ask
The 3rd night in my friends room, he opened up his door and turned the light on and a rat ran down the tea counter across the floor and under the bed... luckly or unluckly the manager was outside and was called in, he denied a rat and said we must of seen things and laughed, he kicked the bed and jumped as the rat ran down the toilet and then said he never saw it !!
It explained the half eaten buscuits as the wrapper wasnt open it was knorred!! checked out ruined week cut short!!
There was alot of shouting at nights mainly asian voices, they would open the doors and look out and shut the door quickly if you turned to see them!! was very strange....
NEVER EVER AGAIN EVER, I FELT SICK STAYING THERE!!!
Last year we stayed in a hotel just as cheap as this nr kensington was million times better!!! so avoid this one
Do Not Stay Here The Worst Hotel Around
Well what can I say about this Run down Shabby Stinky hole .I Stayed here with my Friend from work for Two Nights .On the night of arrival I rang the door bell and "The Receptionist" well a little old lady that didnt speak any English.
The first thing she asked was for payment I had not even got in the door NO PAYMENT BYCARD WOULD SHE ACCEPT so at 10;30 pm I had to go looking for a cash point in what I thought was an area not to be going it alone for a young woman at night.
The Receptionist was screaming at the top of her voice when I refused to go and get cash before I saw the room.I booked a twin room but wat I got was a room with discusting bed sheets stained with what looked like body fluids an there was a dead mouse in the room when the receptionist was asked to move it and she refused.
So I think you would understand we didnt stay another night
There is a more expensive hotel about 10 mins walk its worth that 10mins walk
crack den
I was booked into this B&B by my company. the moment i walked into the hotel i was hit by an over-powering smell of cannabis! we were shown to our room and I found it hard to discuise my disgust at the conditions that we were expected to stay in.
There were stains on the carpet, what looked like blood stains on the wall, squshed spiders, mould in the bathroom, dust covering the cutlery and worst of all was the waifer thin door connecting my roon to another. i could clearly hear the guests next door arranging drug deals up untill 4 o'clock in the morning.
i was booked into this B&B for 2 nights but could barely manage to stay the one.
i strngly suggest you don't stay here!!!
terrible experience
We regularly travel and have booked into places for one or two nights and feel in a position to compare the standard of accomodation and facilities provided and therefore give a constructive review for fellow travellers.
we stopped one night and had booked a double and a twin room for our two boys. we had asked for non smoking rooms.
on our arrival the "receptionist" answered to the door bell, opened the door, could not communicate, ran away down a long dark corridor and came back with the "manager". He volunteered to show us a double room with a bunk bed that would sleep 3 to cost us more money! We informed him we had already reserved the non smoking rooms. we were shown to the rooms and whilst the "receptionist had taken us to show us the second room the manager instructed our boys on the use of the shower and forbade them from turninig it more than 3 as it had been wrongly connected. Both the rooms reakded of smoke and were dark and cold and dirty. i commented on these points to which the manager replied, "we have people from all over come and stay with us and find our facility good". On smoking - the last guests smoked. the manager had suggested we make contact withe the receptionist for anything untoward but there was no contact point.
we were very cold all night, the beds smelt cigarette smoke, we heard a loud tv well into early hours of the morning. We shared the same shabby shower room. Both my sons developed wheezy chests. My sons statement from experience is, "we have been poisoned by nicotine".
The manager had suggested we make contact with the receptionist if there was anything ontoward and if we needed to ordere breakfast but there was no contact point.
The only reason we had booked this place was the short distance to where we were to attend.....
would recommend travel lodge, holiday inn. If travelling independently, like we were 20 to 40 miles distance to the point of visit should be no obstacle.
