Hotel is situated on a quiet leafy street set back from actual roadway, very handy to Paddington Tube and surrounded by a variety of restaurants representing all cultures. We had some excellent meals, reasonably priced. The Sussex Arms pub in London Street must get a special mention as a warm friendly local pub with fabulous traditional British meals, highly recommended. (beer & wine -all good).

Hotel rooms are squishy (small), but only being there for sleeping doesn't make it an issue. Breakfast is standard continental with some welcome additions, fruit and musli.

Reception and staff all very helpful, especially with directions and transport advice.

Notably the No.15 bus runs along Praed Road nearby which covers all the London Tourist location on one bus route (except Abbey Road). Buy an Oyster card and enjoy London.

Chris and Maria and their staff are to be commended for their friendly and caring nature to travellers unfamiliar with London and also for their warmth in making the Rhodes a home away from home. My room was clean, bed comfortable and I felt very relaxed in this small boutique hotel and would recommend it to everyone for value.

I stayed in Rhodes Hotel for 3 nights in October.

It is very central for Paddington and Heathrow Express, and is within minutes away from the underground network.

The staff is very helpful and serviceminded, the single room is small but clean and they offer a first class breakfast.

Very good value for money, and I will stay there again for future visits.
