Perfectly situated, clean and friendly family run Guest House
My partner and I travelled to London for a long weeked as a Birthday treat in September and after seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor for the Jesmond Dene- I decided to stay there. The rooms were spacious, modern and very clean. The hotel is family run and everyone was very friendly- plus they do a very good full english which was the perfect start to a day navigating the crowds of London!
Perfectly situated right across the road from Kings Cross Station giving you easy access to most tube lines and making sight seeing in the city a lot easier!
I would highly reccommend the Jesmond Dene- Don't stay in a TravelLodge or a Holiday Inn- This family run Hotel was perfect and has a much more personal touch- they even looked after all our luggae from early hours of the morning to late at night on the day of our departure at no extra charge so we wouldn't have to drag it all across London all day!

good value
Stayed at this hotel during October half term for 1 night. I travelled with other colleagues and a group of 15 young people. It was conviniently situated with only a 5 minute walk from St Pancras station. On arrival we were met by the owners who were very welcoming and told us we were too early to book in but could leave our bags and they would put them in our rooms for us. This left us free to enjoy the rest of the day. We had a selection of different rooms from twins, triple, quad and doubles which were all well equiped and spotlessley clean. Some had flat screen televisions and had recently been refurbished to a high standard. Full English breakfast was included in the price and the service was excellent.. Overall a good break and it felt like home from home. Would definatley stay there again when visiting London. Good for groups.

Great Value
My husband and I stayed at Jesmond Dene for one of the six nights we were in London. We stayed in an upscale hotel the first five nights, but found the Jesmond Dene to be just as nice, clean and spacious as the Rubens at the Palace which cost much more. We will defintely be staying at the Jesmond Dene for future London visits. The room was very clean and the service was exceptional. The room was small, but most other hotels (even the upscale ones) have small rooms as well.

Good located, friendly stuff, tasty breakfast
We (me, the father + his 4 children) stayed there in a 5-Bed-Room. The room was quite small, but it was clean and we found peace and quiet at night. The Underground is just round the corner. And it was not expencive. Great trip! Thanks!
