Welcome to Palmers Lodge, London's budget accommodation with a difference, where you can experience Victorian elegance in the former home of Samuel Palmer, of the Huntley and Palmers Biscuits Empire. Built in 1881, this substantial house has been fully restored to its original glory in order to offer our guests not just budget accommodation but also a unique experience during their stay in London.

We have a wide selection of rooms; from private en-suite rooms to a 14-bed dorm for the really price conscious traveller. Great care has been taken in furnishing our spacious rooms to the highest standard with top quality furniture and secure storage facilities, whilst the interior decorations have been kept consistent with the Victorian theme so that our guests are offered a memorable experience in a unique building, not just a bed.

Guests can enjoy free internet and WiFi access in the lobby, relax in the lounge or have a drink with friends in our bar. A free continental breakfast, served in the dining room, is included in the price.

If you're going out then take the tube from either Swiss Cottage or Finchley Road tube stations and in a few minutes you can be in the heart of the City. If you're having a really late night then you can catch the night bus back from Trafalgar Square! There is also plenty to do near the Lodge on Finchley Road with two cinemas, the Hampstead Theatre, pubs, restaurants and the O2 shopping centre. Just ask our staff for ideas!

The restoration has added all modern facilities without spoiling the building's character and guests can be assured by our conscientious and friendly staff, and commitment to the highest standards. Palmers Lodge is located in central London near Swiss Cottage and Finchley Road tube stations (4 stops from the heart of London) with bus connections to both Stanstead and Luton Airports.

Check in from 2pm or leave your bags before. Check out is 11am with breakfast 7.30am to 10am. Photo ID required at check in.
