My girlfriend and i stayed in this hotel for two nights. After looking at the reviews on Tripadvisor we thought we could give it a go, since it was in an excellent location. The hotel is based just off Oxford Street, and is very close to Oxford Circus station. After a two minute walk we found the hotel with ease. We were kindly greeted by the hotel staff and given our room, which was based on the nineth floor. Our first impression of the room was that it was very spacious and clean. The decor was very modern since we decided to have an executive double room. As we were about to leave the hotel to go shopping in Oxford Street, we noticed that both lifts were out of order. In order to get down we had to walk up to the 15th floor which contained the restaurant and showed marvelous views of London. The reason why we could not walk down the stairs was that the building was occupied by the BBC, from the eighth floor down, and if you walked down the stairs an alarm would sound. After a busy day my girlfriend decided to have a shower which was very cold. We turned the dial as much as we could but this did not have any effect. Whilst we laid in bed we could hear the water running through the pipes when other people had a shower. The sound was quite loud and eventually stopped when people decided to go to bed. The following morning the water was still cold, and after asking the receptionist he explained that it was the water system, and that it was the heighest temperature the water could go to. He also explained that the lifts we very old and that they are being replaced next year. We were advised to use the service lift which only went from the ground to the 15th floor. One night we decided to order room service. It came very quickly, and was presented nicely. However, there wasn't much to choose from. Overall we enjoyed our stay but was left very disappointed with the shower. If the problem was fixed we would stay here again.

A friend and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend break at the begining of the month. I was worried about finding a nice enough hotel with a reasonable price in the centre of everything. The location is fantastic. Oxford Circus is 2 minutes away... Oxford Street, Regent Street etc. it's all literally on the doorstep. Also just a stones throw away from Theatre Land.

The hotel is nice enough... rooms clean and spacious with AMAZING views of London. Reception staff are really helpful and informative and let you leave your bags in a safe area if on your check in or check out day you don't want to haul your luggage around London.

Would go back... In fact... I am - In December!

Very centrally located and convenient for theatres/attractions.

Room was well decorated, spacious and clean, but the building itself looked a bit like a concrete block. From the 12th floor, we had a great view over the roof tops of London. The public areas looked a bit 'tired'. Restaurant was less welcoming than expected, so we did not eat there. All in all it was 'OK', but would not choose to stay there again

Superb location, Oxford Circus tube station 2 mins away. Room was spacious, clean & tidy. Can recommend this hotel to anyone wishing good accomodation and easy movement around central London.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the end of July, after reading the reviews I was a bit concerned as what to find but it was fine. I have been in nicer 4* hotels but I think you are paying for the location. The staff were helpful and let us have our room as soon as we arrived about 10.45 as we were having afternoon tea at the Ritz and needed to shower etc after a 3 hr train journey.

The breakfast was good with plenty of choice of fruit, cerials etc. Our room was kept clean and the tea/coffee and toiletries replaced. It was walking distance to a lot of places but we bought a rail card which saved us a fortune on the underground.

The Ritz experience was wonderful and Jersey Boys was a fantastic show. Will use this hotel again when we come in December again to see the Jersey Boys and get some retail therapy !
