The Summerfield Tavern

This is a fantastic place and very good value. The rooms are very spacious and clean and have lovely ensuites. The rooms are above the pub and are accessed through a lovely beer garden. They are far enough away from the bar for the noise not to be an issue. On our first night there was a singer in the bar and whilst I could hear her faintly in the room it wasn't bad and had finished by midnight. We chose the Summerfield tavern as we wanted to be close to Greenwich and we used a car to get there and also into central London so I couldn't say how convenient it is for public transport but the owner said there is a train station nearby. The breakfasts are excellent and are served in the bar. You can get the usual full English or you can have yoghurts and cereals. All in all this is a great place and we are already planning a return visit next year.
