Lets keep it short, good things: the hotel is cheap, in a good area 3 mins walk from Kings Cross subway station (I prefer London Bus system more than the underground), they serve ok English breakfast.

The stuff is not friendly at all, they reply to any question you ask with another question, even don’t give you any tips on info about London as if they are leaving in another city.

Not clean and poor rooms, no room service during my stay.

I don’t recommend it, search more you will find lot of other better hotels in Argyle Street.

I stayed for 3 nights with mij son (10 years old), we had a triple room.

used the share-bathroom on the floor. room was clean, bathrooms were clean but simple. (next time I prefer a hotel with a room with own bathroom)

clean towels every morning.

Breakfast was beans, egg, mushrooms and bacon, toast, juice, (good) coffee, tee, milk with cerials.

Breakfast-room was small and mostly we had to wait.

There was no coffeemaker or tee boiler at the room and I missed that. Staff was friendly.

location was 2 min. walk from Kings cross., perfect when you had a long journey.

Price??? it was cheaper and had better rooms than other hotels.

The BB is not bad, the rooms are very small and clean. It is central and easy to locate.

The worst thing of this BB is the unfriendly staff that simply dont welcome you. Fisrtly, we arrived and they gave us the key of the room, after checking in and paying in front the entire stay. The guy told us 'the room is next door to reception'. There was only one room so I tried to put the key on when someone asked me 'where are you going?' 'which number have you got in your keyring?' 'two? so why are you trying to enter in X room?' my room was in another building... It would had been nice, if someone to let us know with a bit of better manners.

The most illarious thing is that they serve breakfast until 9.30 we arrived according to my watch at 9.27 and according to theirs at 9.33 and they didnt want to serve us breakfast. They gave us some toast (not English breakfast) because I complaint a bit... while they were cooking the English breakfast for themselves. The Second day the guy wouldnt stop staring at us using really rude manners. We encounter a couple of Italian that didnt have their breakfast because they arrive at 9.31.

They have Wi-Fi in the BB for free, but again you need to go and ask if you want to use it. The service is simply the worst I have ever experienced. You can enter in reception where some kids are watching some TV, in extremely high volume, and they wont put the volume down even if you struggle to understand what they say. They treat you as if you were doing them a favour.

Positive: Cheap (48 pounds for basic twin room), good location (very close to King's Cross Station), breakfast included, shared bathroom relatively clean

Negative: breakfast was low-quality, tiny room, no AC, room not very clean, the bedding (except for the white sheets) clearly hadn't been washed in a while

This place is alright for a few nights, but a whole week would be too long. It's on a street (Argyle) with many other hotels, so maybe people should look into those as well.
