Stayed at the ramada docklands in november for weekend trip to london, very good hotel just outside of london and straight forword to get to, had a free carpark unlike others nearby, and was a short walk to dlr train station. We had breakfast each day on our stay of which you had excellent choose fruit cereals hot or cold buffet breakfasts. They was a bar and resturant, and a pub just a short walk away. The rooms where good and clean, our room over looked london city airport so you could watch the planes coming and going but was not really noisy cause room had double glass windows, i think the rooms at the otherside of the hotels benfited for views of london skyline? Booked through onhotels website and saved a bit from the normal rate. Would definatly recomend and stay there again.

Dear Turvycat

Many thanks for taking the time to leave your kinds review, and especially for your words on the entire team here. It means a lot to hear it from our guests. housekeeping is often an overlooked field and i will be sure to pass on your positive remarks.

Delighted to hear that you all enjoyed breakfast, and thanks for the particular reference to the eggs.

I hope that we can look after you again soon.

Dear Makantudo

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and for details provided. There are clearly several areas to look at.

Your room is in fact quite small and is no doubt hard to adjust to. It is equipped the same as all others and some are larger. There is no 'relegation' to this, it is the random aspect of these things. Some are larger, smaller, good views, poor views, etc. it's just the ways things are. minibars are not part of the facility in any room. I'm surprised to hear about the mattress as all mattresses have been replaced in the past six months. Thank you for bring this to our attention.

I'm very dissappointed to hear about your breakfast. There are many reviews here recently complementing the breakfast offering, however something clearly went wrong here. Likewise the housekeeping and the paper is clearly not acceptable.

With regard to access, there is an extension program running at the ExCeL centre, which is obviously beyond our control. Shuttle buses run during each event and these are timetabled on display at the hotel reception, This is a situation that will change in April next year, where the Ramada will be among the closest hotels to the entrance.

Thanks you for pointing out the friendly reception staff at the hotel. I'm glad that something went well during this stay.

There are clearly areas that were unacceptable during your stay. I will be following up though our booking records to contact you directly.

Thanks again for taking the time to review.

Dear Stephen&Helen

Many thanks for leaving your kind review. The team will be very please and motivated when reading about your stay.

Many of the reviews on the hotel are in reference to location and transport. It is naturally a matter of perspective, however you summed up perfectly our opinion on the of access. It really is no different to staying in many hotels in the London area. There is always trip into the city centre, but for drivers the hotel is a great base.

Many thanks and hope we can look after you again in the future.
