When I arrive to the hotel, the front desk start welcomely greated me and make me feel like home. My room was perfect and clean. Towels and linen replanish daily. After I saw bad refers on the hotel, I was giving it a second thought, but when I called prior to my arrival I was told the hotel was newly renovated. I arrived and the room was clean and cozy. I guest since the old owner diidnt maintain the property in the past but my stay was enjoyable and very comfortable. I will highly recommend Eaton House Hotel to anyone who want to visit london. Thanks

I went there because of its location I had to be close to belgravia and victoria. I knew that was a budget accomodation, so i expected a basic accomodation, but nothing could prepare me for what it was to come. Awful!!!

The building was old and badly mantained, had bags of gravel and building materials everywhere. The door was locked, but a lady leaving and let me in. I was looking for the reception but there wasn't one.I went out and found a note in the main door re-directing me to another hotel "Collins House". This one didn't look much better but I found the reception. They then send me back to the 1st address again.

The room had the door and window open smelled of smoke, was dingy and dirty. The window didn't have locks, the ligth swich was exposed, we were sharing the toilet but I had to find it as nobody told me where it was. The toilet was dirty too, and was small, the door didn't even close properly. IS THE WORST HOTEL I HAD EVER BEEN IN I STILL HAVEN'T FOUND A POSSITIVE THING ABOUT IT.

I was supposed to stay in Ebury House, but my room was across the street in the Eaton House. I think all of the hotels under this management are probably about the same quality. Our first room was a dungeon in the basement with a huge bathroom, but it was dirty and dingy. After finding we shared our private bathroom with the maids and all other staff, and repeatedly having our door unlocked and propped open, we asked for a room change. Keep in mind that we are young college kids with open minds and low standards. The new room was much brighter and nicer, but the bed was awful and the bathroom smelled terrible. I'm not hard to please, but a bathroom in the closet that smells like sour towels and sulfur is hard to deal with for a week. The maids never changed our linens or made the bed. Teenagers occupied the other rooms and stayed up til 4am every night drinking, dancing, yelling, and slamming doors repeatedly. We could only fall asleep by drinking a few ourselves and popping a sleeping pill. The squeaky floors were awful. The mattress was old and thin, and our pillows were flat little rocks. I planned on only using the room for sleeping and showering, but it was barely useful for either. If you are on a budget, try Westminster House down the street. I stayed there for two nights and it was absolutely lovely. They provide a hairdryer and croissants for breakfast, too!

the hotel is really several seedy, old buildings so your first surprise is finding a note to check in somewhere else. They trade also as BELGRAVIA ROOMS and Hostels Ltd - BE warned and AVOID. The outside was piled with trash sacks, the corridors cluttered with old shoes and dubious laundry. The room had no heating at all in a cold November! The carpet was holed, dusty and torn. The shower room was ancient and dirty and the shower hand-held. Only handsoap was provided. Single-glazed, noisy. It was late, I was tired, so I decided to stay one night. The bed was clean though I worried about bed bugs and slept in clothing. i did not dare sample the breakfast and went elsewhere to eat. It cost me £73.50 to stay one night in Hell. It is he second-worst hotel I have stayed in during my life and the worst turned out to be a brothel over 25 years ago!

First impressions... room smelt of mould, but bearable. However huge amounts of mould in the shower, coupled with the fact that the whole bathroom looked as if it had been retrofitted from an RV, it seemed a little worse. The mattress on the double bed was so bad that both my partner and myself had to sleep in a sinlge bunk bed. That was the last straw and we left, losing part of our deposit
