We went to London for Leisure in January with our 2 small children. After having read all the bad comments about the Hotel i felt like to rebook straight away, but it was my husband who kept me away from doing so.

The Hotel is extremely well located in Victoria, within walking distance to the main station. Supermarkets, Restaurants, Coffee bars etc. close by.The Hotel is of course not a 5 star, but its also not referred to as one on any of the internet pages. It's description clearly says, that it is a budget BB in central London. The rooms are small (and need little touch ups) like everywhere in London, but clean.B' fast is simple consisting of Toast, Jam, Cereals, Coffee, Tea, Milk etc, but again if you feel like to have some more just go to the supermarket round the corner and get what you need in addition. There is Tea and Coffee making facility in the room and Tea, Coffee, Milk, Sugar etc. is provided. I would also like to point out the helpfulnes of the Staff especially Yashwant at Reception, who was of great support during our stay. All in all great value for money, considering the prices fo accomodation in London.

If travelling and all it's experience that go with it is something you are looking for, than don't hesitate to go to the Blair Victoria and Tudor, if you are a fussy traveller with 5 star expectation stay away..!!

Value for your money, not Ritz but what do you expect for 50£/night?

Boy I was afraid what to expect after reading reviews from Trip Advisor. I even took my own sheets with me so could avoid possible bed bugs. But I was happily surprised. Room was tiny but clean. Bed was good but walls are like paper. We got clean towels every day. Breakfast was poor but staff was very friendly. Location is excellent. If you are going to spend your time in hotel room, dont choose this one but if you are just using room for sleeping&refreshing - go for it!

I stayed here in June 2009 with my boyfriend and my friend as a stop over before we travelled to Thailand to do volunteer work. My boyfriend paid for the stay in London for my birthday but what a let down!! Our triple room was in the basement beside the breakfast room, stair are very steep so be careful!! Words cannot describe how bad this room was. Bare in mind, we're students so we're used to a certain standard of squalor but this was a different story altogether. The wall outside our room had wacks of paint missing and what looked like blood on the wall. The same blood stains were on the carpet in our room. I ws afraid to take my shoes off for fear of what i could catch. There was a chunk of wood missing from the side of the wardrobe, stains all over walls and the sheets on the bed were disgustingly dirty. The smell and the dirt in the room meant that I did not sleep at all that night for fear of putting my head near their dirty pillows and during the night it got that bad that I was physically sick into a bag. We stayed out as late as possible to avoid going back to the room and we even tried availability in other hotels in the area but to no avail.

Then at about 4am in the morning there was heavy banging on our bedroom door. Despite being heart scared of what it was, my boyfriend opened the door to a very angry receptionist shouting that the taxi we had ordered was waiting outside, even though we hadnt ordered it until 4pm the following day. He didnt even apologise for his stupid mistake anddisturbances.

I think we paid about £100 for the triple room for one night. I dont care if they offered it to me for free I would NEVER EVER set foot in this dirty hole again. Kim and Aggie would have a field day with this place!!!!

The guys are total frauds. The room and the bed has nothing to do with the pics. The bed is so small that you can not turn around (and I am 52 kg.). The sheet, pillow and towels are so dirty that make you sick and if you ask for a clean one all you get is another one as dirty as the olds. Plus they tried to withdraw money from my credit cards twice by saying that my first card did not respond. And finally when I ask for a cab in my last day to go airport they call a strange guy with a car but nor a cab and hew said that I owe him 60 GBP which later I learned that he should charge 30 GBP maximum. The breakfast was not eatable; the only nice thing was the location of the hotel. Think at least twice before booking. Blair Victoria and Tudor Inn Hotel could make you save a couple of pounds but it may cost you ruin a wonderful time in London. I would rather staying one ot two days less but having a decent holiday at least with a clean bed!

My husband and I stayed here the week before Christmas. The location of the hotel was great, very close to the underground and within walking distance to several attractions, like Buckingham Palace. It also was close to many bars, restaurants, a grocery store, and cafes. Our room was not in the Blair Victoria, it was across the street at the Tudor Inn. It was on the bottom floor, with a view of the hall. The room itself was very small. It had a wet shower which was so small my husband had to squat to take a shower in it. It was noisy with the people upstairs, so it was hard to sleep. At least I felt safe and the room was cleaned everyday and they gave you fresh towels. The best thing about this hotel is it's owner. He is a very kind man who went out of his way to help my husband and I with some traveling issues.
