Very good location - around 15 minutes walk from Hayes and Harlington Station. or catch the 140 bus for 2 stops and it is 5 minutes walk. Going to Heathrow. the 140 bus will get you there in 15 minutes for 1GBP.

Rooms are very good value - only 30 GBP for a single. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. There is a TV, and kettle with coffee, tea and a couple of biscuits.

Breakfast was good - much better than places more expensive.

They said that there was wireless internet, but neither reception or the manager knew the password.

Close to Heathrow airport - the only reason to stay here, as the price was cheap.

The reception staff were ok, not very helpful - they did answer the questions, but were not particularly welcoming.

The single room 105 was one which apparently was allowed for smoking - and you could tell this by the smell. The room was very basic, adequate for an overnight stay. The bedlinen was clean and the bed was comfortable, the small bathroom was ok, the shower ok, the towels clean. The carpet in the bedroom was not nice under the foot: it just did not feel clean.

The breakfast was good and varied: fruit juices, tea, coffee, toast, eggs, cheese, cereal yoghurts, fresh fruit. The breakfast host was friendly and very helpful.

Being so close to the airport, it was very quiet, hardly any noise from the street.

An ok place to spend a night, would not recommend for anything more than that.

when booking a place to stay in an area i've never been to before im always open minded about what the state of the accomodation is going to be but shepiston lodge exceeded all expectations! The welcome was warm and all staff were polite and friendly. our room was adequate for what we needed and breakfast was thrown in all for just £40 a room, a night! I will definantly stay there again if in the area.

Take all the other reviews with a large grain of salt. There are only two reasons to stay at Shepiston Lodge: it is cheap, and it is super convenient to the airport. I will also acknowledge that the folks at the front desk were nice, polite and helpful. The lodgings, though, are seriously low-budget. Our room (#104) was so small that the bathroom door, which opened directly up against our bed, could only be opened to about 18 inches at its widest arc. The bed was viciously uncomfortable: its springs were right underneath the surface of the mattress and poked us in the ribs all night. Also, there was no top sheet, only a comforter cover (no way to know how clean it was). My husband's feet protruded off the end of the bed by about a foot as well (full disclosure, he is 6'3" | 1.9 metres). There was zero water pressure, and no clear way to turn on the bedside lamps. So it was pretty depressing, although if you have the choice between sleeping in the airport lounge for 10 hours versus having a bed 15 minutes from the terminal for $80, this is hardly the worst choice you could make.

I agree with each of the previous recent reviews. We were looking for a place to stay near Heathrow and didn't want to pay 100L a night. We paid only 50L and it included a good breakfast - toast, cereal, yogurt, cheese, fruit. The hotel was easily accessible via public transit (metroline bus #140, 2L & Hotel Hoppa 4L) and less than 20 mins from the Heathrow terminals. We were greated by the owner and checked in without problems. We then sat in the casual dining room/bar and had a night cap before turning in. There was no street noice and no airport noise. Our room was spacious - it had a queen and a single. The bathroom was also big for London and very clean. Only small problem was that our bedding was a bit damp. However, we will definitely use this hotel as an airport layover in the future.
