This Premier Inn seemed to be dominated more than any other I have been to by professionals of of all levels. The Transit van and BMW 3 series were much in evidence. The car park is large and barrier controlled.

The reception was courteous and efficient and I was in my room less than 5 mins from arrival. The room was comfortable - typical of the genre - and I had no problem sleeping. Inter-room noise is well controlled and even the fire door right outside didn't intrude.

Unusually for a Premier Inn, the room had air conditioning - the first time I have encountered this in a UK budget chain. Sometimes you get a fan, but the AC was most welcome.

The adjoining "TableTable" branded pub was OK. Hand pulled bitter, yay! "It's off" Boo!

Food is edible and reasonably priced. Staff friendly but a little slow. As this is on an industrial estate, there is not much choice except to eat here or drive (no beer!)

Overall it's pretty good. I still think £75 is steep for a budget brand hotel but that's what it is and it was full so...

It has PAYG wifi, but my 3G dongle worked so I didn't test it.

Stayed at the premier inn for one night and had no complaints at all. Booked through a cashback site and got a nice 4% off the booking price which was £63 for one night on a friday.

On arrival we was 2 hours early and the receptionist rang through and had us a room ready within 10 mins which we was most grateful for.

Whilst waiting we popped next door to the pub/restaurant which was very welcoming plenty of staff and decent prices for drinks. Big outside seating area for sunny days and smokers. As the hotel is placed on a business park it can often get busy around lunchtime with office workers.

Room was very very spacious but only give 2 basic towels so if you like more i would advise taking a large bath towel. Plenty of tea and coffee in rooms with big mugs not tea cups :) Hairdryer remote control televsion and air conditioning and a great big bed with plenty of pillows. all things to make my stay better.

Breakfast is from 7am-11am at the pub next door which really is only 10 yards walk and is great value @ £7.50 with a wide selection of tease coffees cereals fresh fruit and a buffet style fry up where you can eat as much as you can.

As you can tell i was most impressed with the stay and would recommend this highly

The Premier Inn at Enfield is a new build located about 2 miles from the M25 on a large business trading estate. Access to the hotel is relatively simple, however this road can get busy in the mornings when leaving.

The hotel staff were what you expect from budget chain hotels, they give you just about enough attention and feedback to ensure you get to your room with as little fuss as possible. Which after a long day of meetings suited me anyway!!??

The buildings is of high quality, however the floors are squaeeky in the rooms. However, I could not hear floor boards above so presume this was a fault in just the one room?!

The bathroom was very clean, with adequate space. As always the beds were really comfortable! I don't know where they get there beds from but Premier Inn have struck gold in my view!!

TV was adequate, wasn't a plasma/LCD, but had all freeview channels.

Overall the hotel is of a good standard. However, on the night I was staying rooms were priced at £75, yet travel 15 miles up the road into Essex and Premier Inn had rooms for £64!! I presume the extra £11 comes from being inside the M25?!

Travel

The hotel is next to a main A road so easily accesible by car. The nearest train station is 15-20 minutes walk away called Enfield Lock, on the train central london is about 45 minutes away.

Arrival

The entrance is stylish, clean and modern. On the ground floor there is just the reception and some rooms. The bar which double as the restaurant is located in a seperate building. Once I checked in I made my way to the room. On the lift you have to swipe your card to call the lift, this wasn't working so I had to use the stairs to the 3rd floor.

Room

Rooms are quite large considering the area. They are very well maintained and styled. They have 5 coat hangers, but plenty of clothes shelves. The rooms are made up everyday for you. Tea and coffee facilities are provided in the room. The rooms are air conditioned and your can choose the temperature using the controls on the wall

Food

A full english breakfast is provided. I always had the full english breakfast. The food was just acceptable. Considering the price I would have expected slightly better quality of food. The evening food is much better however, it is a standard brewers fayre menu, the portions are generous, but the gammon does taste like it's been frozen.

Value for money

At £71 for a double room per night I did find this quite expensive as this does not include and food. However the quality of the room was good. One thing I did find annoying was that the lift hardly ever worked the 3 nights I stayed there and the staff did not seem to care. I found the cost of food and drinks quite reasonable as it is standard brewers fayre prices.

Overall experience

The hotel has clearly just been refurbished so it was all nice, clean, and a plesant place to stay. Once night I asked reception how to turn the television over to the SCART channel so I could plug my DVD player in, they did not know and said they would send someone to help. Help never arrived. Sorry, but marks down for making flase promises.
