I stayed for a VERY pleasant week at this Guest House last month. I was greeted at the front door by the Manager (Bea) and made to feel VERY welcome!!!! - My cases were offered to be taken up to my room (en-suite). Once in the room, Bea herself took the time to exlain and show how EVERYTHING worked, and then left me to settle in (not very difficult - built in wardrobes and chest of draws made this a pleasant experience) - after which, I had a polite tap on the door to find Bea with all the necessary paperwork (booking in forms etc) and was given a wide selection of Breakfast, all of which would be delivered to my room at a time which i could select!!! - Public transport to anywhere in London is not much more than two minuites walk from the door so I cannot fault this B&B and would recommend it MOST definately to all who ask where to stay in London!!!!

The Notting Hill Guest House encompasses everything an independent traveller would want from a low cost Bed & Breakfast! Where to start? Firstly the owner would have gone to virtually any length to help me enjoy my stay. Not only is she a mind of information, but Bea exudes a warmth that is secont to none. The rooms are large and comfortable with the wonderful facility to cook independently if desired. And what an excellent price for the location, location , location...it's cheap, cheap, cheap! Literally the B & B is 30 seconds from the tube, which is virtually in the center of London (5 minutes from Bond Street), 5 minutes walk from the wonderful Notting Hill and 3 minutes walk from one of London's more beautiful and lesser known parks. I have stayed many times at Bea's B & B and I love it every time! I only wish that there would be many more B & B's of this kind in one of the world's most famous & visited capitals.

this bed and breakfast is in a nice place and in fact mrs bea is very friendly, but the smell in the entrance and all over the stair is really disgusting.

the house is very old and requires hardly to be restyled. the room is quite large, but the the carpet is very worn and needs to be replaced. the bed throw is old and all over the room there was dust. the window frame needed hardly to be painted.

the breakfast was nice.

I came across the Nottinghill Guesthouse in the visitlondon.com website and it truly added value to our winter holiday in London! The location of the guest house is its exceptional value, a bus stop in front of the house and an underground tube station practically next door. The neighborhood is simply great too, you'll find almost everything you need around the block.

We'd always start the day with a good breakfast and come home to a clean room. Our hostess Ms. Bea (that's what our kids call her and still remembers her fondly) was ever so gracious and helpful.

My kids are now asking me when are we going back to Ms. Bea's house and visit London? Well, you can be sure we'll be staying at Ms.Bea's house!
