This hotel was excellent for a stop over . We stayed with our young son and it was fine.

It was close to the airport - no way was it a long drive as other posters have advised would only take wo minutes to drive.

Room was large with more than enough room for travel cot, although they forgot to leave bedding for the cot.

We had a fire alarm when there (just as son got to sleep - typical) but i suppose this could happen anytime

Stayed at this hotel as part of a hotel parking deal as we had an early flight the next morning and wanted to be near the airport. We arrived late afternoon and were intending to eat in the resturant on site but when we checked their prices found them a bit too pricey for a stopover hotel. We ended up going to the Toby Carvery down the road and having an excellent meal and drinks which cost the same as one main course at the hotel.

Room was fine, quite spacious and clean.

The reception night staff were awful, not helpful at all and managed to get us stuck in the car park at 4.00am when we had a flight to catch. The were very rude to my partner and didn't seem to care that we were in a rush.

It was an ok hotel but because of our treatment by the night staff we won't be going back again.

Booked hotel as part of parking and night before you fly package. Checked in very late, had pre-paid for breakfast next morning, but hotel had no record of this, had to wait at check in while they called and confirmed.

Breakfast was good, large selection and you were able to help yourself to as much or little as you wanted.

It is quite close to Crawley and a bit of a drive to the airport, but advantage of this is that you are not disturbed by aircraft.

Room ok, faint smell of urine when entering, but air conditioning helped to resolve this, overall ok hotel for pre/post flight. Would probably stay again.

My husband and I stayed the one night here as we had an early morning flight the next day.

We were up at 4.00am as we had to catch the 5.15am shuttle bus to the airport, which was 25-30 minutes away. Further than we thought.

There was no hot water and so I rang down to reception and I kept ringing for 10 minutes or so until I eventually got a reply. I explained the situation and someone came up to investigate. He said that he would try to get this fixed and I explained that we had to catch a shuttle bus fairly soon so we needed to get showered before our long flight. He was a bit reticent at first but he finally arranged for us to use an empty room on our floor.

The room itself was fine but the delay in getting a reply from reception (after all this could have been an emergency) and the member of staff's laidback attitude in resolving the lack of hot water diminished our view of the hotel.

Unexpected things do happen but the response could have been better.
